All applicants for a (class E) basic Florida Drivers License must pass the written permit exam. The DMV written permit test is composed of two parts. The first part is the road signs test which is comprised of 20 questions covering regulatory and warning road sign recognition. The second part is a road rules test which is comprised of another 20 questions pertaining to the Florida vehicle code. Good drivers who think they do not need any driver ed or to study or prepare for the driver test should think again. Most drivers who take the exam fail it the first time because they have not had enough driver education. A sad statistic, but it is something that could be prevented by reviewing the topics and material that will be covered on the examination. Get to the DMV office to take the test as early as possible. Lines can often be very long and it could take several hours from the time you arrive to actually complete the permit test. Lines are usually full of people who are taking the permit exam over again and this can increase the tension at the DMV.
Gain the confidence and knowledge that you need to pass the test the first time by subscribing to our practice questions and you won't have to worry about going back and standing in line to take the driver permit test again.
