The written driver permit test is required for anyone applying for a Kansas drivers license. The permit test is based on Kansas traffic laws and road signs. If you fail the DMV written permit test you will not be able to take it again until the next working day. You will be given four chances to pass the test. After the fourth failure you must wait six months before you can take the written driver permit examination again. Most drivers who go in to take the test believe it will be easy simply because of the fact that they are good drivers and have a lot of practice. Many are disappointed because they did not pass and it could have been prevented with the correct study and preparation. You should have a reasonable amount of driver ed before you take the test. Having a drivers license is serious business and the state of Kansas does not want under qualified drivers on it's roads and highways so the tests can be tough.
Study the 1000 driver ed questions that we have here and you will have the skills and confidence to go into the Motor Vehicle Division and pass the examination the very first time. If you think having to stand in line to take the driver permit test is bad, think about having to stand in line at the DMV 2, 3 or 4 times!
